Cypress Triathlon Raises Funds for Charity
Bridgeland, a 11,400-acre master planned community in Cypress, held the Cypress Triathlon on Sunday, July 31. The community served as the site for race two of Bayou City Tri Series Race. Athletes with a USA Triathlon (USAT) membership competed in a 550-meter swim, 13-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run.

From the participants, to the spectators, to even the residents living in Bridgeland that came out to cheer for the athletes, it offers a true since of community for all involved.”
The Cypress Triathlon was part of the Bayou City Tri Series Races, produced by Onurmark Productions. Reason2Race partnered with Onurmark Productions for the Cypress Onurmark Giving Challenge. The challenge awarded $1,000 in prize donations to the charities of the highest athlete fundraisers.
