After reviewing hundreds of nominations, the Houston Business Journal has named 65 women as honorees for the 2019 Women Who Mean Business Awards. We are delighted to announce that our President and Co-Founder, Gabrielle Baumeyer, is on the list of nine women selected as outstanding nonprofit leaders in the City of Houston.

The criteria for selection included career achievement, contribution to company and city success, community involvement and leadership.

When asked what this award means to her, Gabrielle responded, “To receive this acknowledgment from HBJ is a true privilege. I thank them for recognizing the good that Reason2Race and I have only been able to accomplish with and alongside our valued corporate and nonprofit partners.  We want nothing more than for people to express their leadership and affect positive change in our community. With this prestigious award, I’m clear that the work we are doing has a solid foundation to make a significant impact in thousands of lives.”

All of the honorees across nine industries will be recognized in a special section of HBJ’s October 4 weekly edition and at an awards reception on October 3.
