Purpose of Email
It is recommended that this type of email be sent to new team members within 24-48 hours of their joining your nonprofit fundraising team. It is a great way to say:
- Thank you for joining our team
- We are glad to have you participate with us
- We are here to support your success
We recommend copying your Leadership Team on this email so they may welcome your new team member as well. In our experience, fundraisers appreciate this welcome communication as it makes them feel like a valued supporter of your organization.
