Hello Everyone,
I did it! On October XX, I completed the XXX. The event was a total success. I had a fabulous time, and you were a part of my event success!
Not only did I cross my second running event finish line, I got to do so in honor of XXX. They and YOU were my biggest motivation for making it to my start and finish lines.

Subject: My event is complete. Thanks for your support
Hi Everyone,
As promised I’m sending my event update.
I finished with a time of 2:19:58. I was pleased with my performance. I completed the 800 meter swim in 21:49, the bike in 1:02:31, and lastly the run in 42:49. I was really pleased with my swim. I kept my pace and felt good coming out of the water. The bike was hilly and windy so I was happy to finish with an average speed of 13 mph. The run was hard. I am still getting into running shape so to throw hills into the mix made it difficult. I walked up the hills and tried to run the flats and down hills. Overall for my second sprint triathlon was a success.
My other finish line was racing for XXXXX. I am happy to say I have raised $1,500 so far towards my goal of $2,000.
Your contribution is making a difference.
If you planned on making a contribution and forgot or are just now ready, there is still time to help me cross my fundraising finish line.
Just click this link {Insert your fundraising page link here} and support the children for whom I was racing. I ask that you consider making a $100 contribution. If you can do more, great. Any amount will support XXXXX in making a difference.
