It’s not every day that our President and Co-Founder is presented with such an acknowledgement, and we are delighted to share this news with you. On October 3, Gabrielle Baumeyer was honored at the 4th Annual Houston Business Journal Women Who Mean Business gala for her work with Reason2Race.

“It has always been and will continue to be my privilege to serve others,” said Gabrielle when receiving her award. “I thank all the corporate and nonprofit leaders who have partnered with me and Reason2Race to make our community the best it can be and look forward to continued success for all.”

During the gala, HBJ shared that spanning their nine award categories, they had over 500 submissions, from outstanding leaders in law to energy to IT and Education.  Gabrielle was one of nine honorees in the category “Outstanding Leaders in Nonprofit.” See nonprofit leaders here.

The criteria for selection included career achievement, contribution to company and city success, community involvement and leadership.
